**Treat or Treat (Chains & Shackles) with Naughty Nerds**

Everyone loves events. Sometimes there seems like nothing to do.

To help remedy that the Aventurine Crew has begun raffle which will culminate in their upcoming Trick-or-Treating Extravaganza on October 19

Want to win a shiny new sloop or a sharp new sword?
How about a stinky fish skeleton or a zombie hand?

If this sounds like your kind of game then this is the raffle for you!

From now until 11:59:59PM on October 18th we will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to Trick-Or-Treat at the Aventurine Halloween Extravaganza!!

Once at the party enjoy lots of fun (listed below) including announcing winners from the raffle and Trick-Or-Treating for boxes!
Will you walk away with a new painted sloop or a bedroll? The choice is up to you!

Tickets are on sale NOW, for the mere price of 1k a piece.

A winning raffle ticket earns a trick-or-treat choice that results in one of tons of prizes including:
Treats- Sloops, Trinkets, Swords, Pets, Furniture...
Tricks- Rags, Sticks, Fish, Bandanas...

And don't worry, there will be at least as many "treats" as "tricks".

Tell everyone you know to buy tickets as the more tickets sold, the MORE PRIZES.
We start with 20 prizes and will add TWO prizes to the list for every twenty tickets sold in addition to the first 200.
This means by buying even a single ticket you will have at WORST a 1 in 10 chance of winning something

Everyone and their Pets can buy the tickets as long as they pay!

To purchase tickets send multiples of 1000 poe to either Chains or Shackles

(Ex: /pay chains -or- /pay shackles 1000, 5000, 69000, etc. and if wanting to participate but can't find chains or shackles online send a PM to arrange a time).
These payments will be rounded down to nearest 1000 and not summed in anyway. The chat logs will be used to record these payments so the sender is the ticket holder.
Winners not able to attend the party will be able to choose their prize from the ones remaining on a first-come first serve basis.

Party:

Starting at 5pm game time on Sunday October 19th ask any Aventurine for a job onto the Parteh Barge.
Local tournies and games will abound and even door prizes and poker!
Browse the wrapped prizes and get an idea which you will choose if you win a chance to Trick-or-Treat
If you decide you didn't buy enough tickets, you have a couple more chances to win a treat.

Tournies!
Do you have your witch costume ready? Ghost and scarecrow decorations hung? Jack-o'lantern carved and set?
We have custom made kits to help remedy this problem, and YOU could be the owner of one for winning a tourney!

Costumes!
No party is complete without a costume/beauty contest.
Themes are Best Halloween Costume and Best Hunk/Babe Combo Outfit (Themed)
Contestants will be given an opportunity to model their outfit and will be asked a few questions to help the judges make their tough decision.
Winners will get to join in Trick-or-Treating as well as be rewarded with a starfish.

Games!
Door prizes, trivia and other games can be expected.

TRICK-OR-TREAT!
You made it to the main part. Trick-or-treating.
By winning in the raffle and some of the party events and games you will get a turn to Trick-or-treat.
(Most of these are from the raffle, so be sure to buy tickets!)
During the party we will announce that Trick-or-treating is about to start to give everyone a chance to gather.
Then we will start through the list of winners.
A winner will get to select a wrapped present from those located throughout the ship.

If not in attendance, or ready in a reasonable time they will be placed at the end of the list and we will move to the next. The presents will be distributed immediately. Any winners not in attendance can pick from the leftovers when available.

Im confused... The event says friday the 19th, but the 19th is a sunday. Is it on Sunday or friday?

Definitely on Sunday. We fixed that on the main forums, but apparently I copied an old version into this post... Sorry about the confusion, and thanks for correcting.

Sunday event is TWO DAYS away. No more tickets will be sold after the date flips to sunday so get your raffle entries purchased!!
